چکیده
Streptomyces clavuligerus is a member of the Actinobacteria family primarily known for its production clavulanic acid antibiotic. The need identification new antimicrobials led to volatile components S. metabolites using GC-MS. isolate was obtained from Ocimum gratissimum rhizosphere starch casein agar, and identified molecular typing. preliminary antibacterial screening carried out some indicator bacteria wound sites urinary tract infection. Its bioactive were sub-merged fermentation over four-day period, compounds organism showed significant (p<0.05) inhibition on Pseudomonas aeruginosa Escherichia coli. Metabolomics study revealed presence alkanone alkene functional groups. Eicosene major antimicrobial compound identified. Likewise, non-antimicrobial, steroidal metabolite – pregnelonone, also dominant in mixture produced by organism. Identifying constituents microbial may be route obtaining GC-MS useful tool achieving such aim.

The Streptomycetes sp. SCBT strain Gen Bank accession number EU143270 isolated from the rhizosphere soil of medicinal plants was collected from the Kolli hills of Tamil Nadu, India. The strain Streptomyces is designated as School of Chemical and Biotechnology (SCBT), capable of inhibiting the growth of a wide range of Gram-negative and Gram-positive bacteria. An almost complete 16S rRNA gene se...
متن کاملGC-MS-based urine metabolic profiling of autism spectrum disorders.
Autism spectrum disorders (ASD) are a group of neurodevelopmental disorders resulting from multiple factors. Diagnosis is based on behavioural and developmental signs detected before 3 years of age, and there is no reliable biological marker. The purpose of this study was to evaluate the value of gas chromatography combined with mass spectroscopy (GC-MS) associated with multivariate statistical...

INTRODUCTION In order to conserve the biodiversity of Capsicum species and find genotypes with potential to be utilised commercially, Embrapa Clima Temperado maintains an active germplasm collection (AGC) that requires characterisation, enabling genotype selection and support for breeding programmes. OBJECTIVE The objective of this study was to characterise pepper accessions from the Embrapa ...
متن کاملRecommendations for Improving Identification and Quantification in Non-Targeted, GC-MS-Based Metabolomic Profiling of Human Plasma
The field of metabolomics as applied to human disease and health is rapidly expanding. In recent efforts of metabolomics research, greater emphasis has been placed on quality control and method validation. In this study, we report an experience with quality control and a practical application of method validation. Specifically, we sought to identify and modify steps in gas chromatography-mass s...
